Sparkle! Blackberry Bliss, stars, and bling - whats not to like?!? |
The exclusive Hostess gift set Good Greetings is pretty awesome. I am liking it more and more as I use it. Its short and sweet, in a cute casual font, and will cover just about everything with its 19 greetings! If you'd like to host a qualifying party, drop me a line! There are lots of options - some you don't even have to clean house for! ;-)
I used the Bright and Beautiful star again, because well... its bright and beautiful! I stamped it in our Encore Ink in Silver, which I'm really liking over embossing right now - one step and done. I also used a little Pinterest project hack to make it 3D. I scored the back side of the star from each tip to the other side, then folded each score and made it into a 3D star.
Score back side from point to side all around star to create 3D effect |
(You can totally do this with cereal box cardboard to create those super cute decor stars for your house, but using a Star template in the size you want rather than the Framelits, they might be too small)
I preserved the 3D effect by using Stampin' Dimensionals to hold the tips of the star down to my Lucky Stars embossed layer.

I like the silver on the Blackberry Bliss. This layout is pretty simple, and can be modified for quite a few stamp sets and occasions. On this card I used the Modern Label punch layered over the Decorative Label punch, with a sprinkling of the new Frosted Sequins, and a snip of Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
Fun little card, I may case myself again!! LOL
